Ruven, Ilan and Shmuel Flaishler.

The Flash Brothers are an Israeli trio that broke into the UK market under the name FLASH with the release in PAUL OAKENFOLD's "Perfecto Presents ... Ibiza" compilation 
with the trax 'The Day After/Megatron'. 
The 3 brothers - Ruven, Ilan and Shmuel Flaishler, are from the isolated town of Nazareth in Israel, but there's no room for sibling rivalry in this trio as they all share the same passion for producing. Under their different production names, their production methods are quite different in every case, as for the Shmoo productions, the brain behind this act is the younger brother Shmuel Flash (a.k.a. Deep Amok, Sam-u-l) , he is responsible for writing and producing while the two other brothers are responsible for the arrangement and mixing. You'll notice that these are more dark and spacey, as for the other productions, their style moves between the territory of house to uplifting progressive house.

The 3 brothers - Ruven, Ilan and Shmuel Flaishler r one of the pioneers of house/progressive & tribal, tech house & melodic trance music in israeli dance music.  

  They r situated in Tel aviv, originally from the isolated town of Nazareth in Israel , but there's no room for sibling rivalry in this trio as they all share the same passion for producing. Their venture into the world of dance music first started when one of the brothers studied sound at the leading school of music in Tel-Aviv, another in computers and, the last, in clubs, labels and DJing. It was only a matter of time before they set up their own studio. 
  Their big break came in 1997 when they met DJ Choopie, who signed them to his label Agnosia Records. 
First success worldwide single release came in 99 when one of Flash's earlier productions 'Amazonas' 
(a hybrid of Israeli-Dutch-European styles) was signed worldwide to Germany's Dos or Die (Zomba) and backed by DJs such as; Tiesto, Scott Bond, John Kelly, Brandon Block and Graham Gold, to name a few. another one followed in the netherland's 'edm' label under tbn with 4 track e.p on the progressive trance tip.

The biggest breakthrough for the brothers career came out in the begining of 2001 with replyed supports by 2 of the world's best djs & their successfull labels signing their trax - paul oakenfold (perfecto records) & john digweed (bedrock records). 

 Then they broke into the UK market under the name FLASH with the release of 'The Day After/Megatron' through Perfecto last October 2001 (included in Perfecto presents Paul Oakenfold Ibiza 2001 & Perfecto collection triple mix cd album ..), and from there things went globally & well known.. the guys r signed today with some of the leading dance labels in the world (Perfecto , Bedrock , Hooj Choons , oxyd ,Yoshitoshi , Silver Planet..). also they are performing as a trio live act with their music for more than 4 years now , when they played already all over israel's clubs (tlv , dome , octopus , pacha , ultrasound , forum ..) in the country , including open air festivals as well (loveparades , Heineken sundance ..). 
shmuel flash is one of the brothers, who also producing alone & is the main dj among them , who lots of times warms them up on the live gigs or plays also after the show , as been playing together arround the world (turkey , hungary , Sweden , israel , uk , holland , asia , poland , romania ..). 

 

  Things looks great for the guys this year , as only recentlly they signed new trax & remixes to more well known labels in Uk , Italy , Usa , Canada & even malaysiya in asia.. got their anticipated uk / worldwide mix cd compilation on silver planet out now 
"Flash Brothers presents fear of a silver planet 2", as they r being the first israeli electronic artist to release a mix compilation in a uk label.
