Born in Rhodes, Greece, Memet was seduced by the aura of the London club scene 9 years ago, when he started collecting records! He took up residencies in the islands bars and clubs and set out on a journey of turntable explorations inspired by this sun-drenched paradise of Rhodes. As the latest euro-trance craze bombarded our shores, Memet was one of the few who helped this music scene to grow in Rhodes island !

Firstly in Serios cafe then in NE1, some time later in Cream,Loft,Paradiso and later in Havana bar and now in bar - club Mojo, in the old town of Rhodes, which he owns. Memet's perseverance and integrity have paid off as a whole new generation of partygoers is rediscovering the real roots of club music in Rhodes . We are in the midst of a House music revival and who can say for sure where it will take us, but it is clear that the peak has yet to come, and Memet is ready for it, representing the best of the old and new schools. Memet's natural evolution led him to start playing loving House music and tech house. Always living in Rhodes island, the mix of Sun, Sex, Tropical surrealism and Music led to Memet bringing all of those elements into his music and onto the dance floor.

The year 2001 he started with a huge party on 29/7 playing with JOSE PADILLA and alex christopoulos next to the beach between 2000 people at Sundance beach parties that he organized! After that, on 12/8 a crazy housey party with FRANCO MOIRAGHI and his percussionist at Sundance beach bar,and then with a bang, performing along with Petros Floorfiller and Sander Kleinenberg for a huge party in +Soda Athens at 22/12. His live performance not only helped to turn that venue into the Cinderella success story it has become, but also set a standard for wicked tech house parties to follow. He presented his talent once again in the same legendary club and signed a contract with his friend and promoter Petros Floorfiller on 2/2/02.
